Infants

Children are provided with a loving and caring environment not only to nourish their physical well being, but to also allow for the development of a well-formed character and good mental abilities. Children in this classroom will progress from infants to young toddlers able to walk and feed themselves who are beginning to express their need.

Toddlers I

Children in this group will continue their self-motivated learning towards independence. They will begin development of finer motor skills and their intellectual growth will be marked with recognizable words, which is encouraged through verbalization practices.

Toddlers II

These children are in an explosive period of sensory and perceptual development. They will learn to follow simple directions and will be schooled in grace and courtesies necessary for social interaction at the next level.

Preschool

It is in the primary classroom that development of the whole personality of the child is most apparent, through their intellectual, physical, social, emotional, and inner growth. In addition to lessons in math, language, geography and sciences, the child will be able to participate in practical life skills, which are designed to enhance a child's sense of worth and self sufficiency in the daily home environment.

Kindergarten

The kindergarten curriculum consists of the traditional Montessori materials and activities within the philosophy. The materials, activities, and discussions nurture the natural curiosity children possess regarding the world around them and introduce the idea that all things are connected. Also, the curriculum's purpose is to increase the children's awareness of the total environment they live, their place in it, and the people, plants, and animals who share it with them.

Lower elementary (grades 1, 2, and 3) will be available in fall 2008
