Your Child's First 30 Days

You're nervous. Your child might even be a little nervous. A child's first 30 days at the Academy or within a new classroom can be a challenging time for both parents and their children. We invite you to stop by anytime during this period of transition to observe your child's classroom and help make his/her transition as easy as possible. We have many great tools on hand to help make this new experience a positive or addition to face-to-face communication, you'll receive:

An Introductory Conference

A member of our Academy management will meet with you during the first week to make sure you've met your child's teacher and that you're informed about our processes and procedures, your child's schedule and where to locate things in the classrooms.

Courtesy Phone Call

To ease the anxiety many new parents feel on their child's first day, our Academy will be happy to call you (by request) to let you know how things are going.

Welcome to our Classroom

You will get a letter from the teacher the first week of your child's enrollment at the Academy. This letter is an opportunity for teachers to introduce themselves and to give you an overview of your child's daily schedule and some of the activities your child will engage in.

A Month Conference

The Director will either call you or schedule a time to meet with you to check in and answer any lingering questions you might have.

New Parent Orientation Breakfast

This is a great opportunity to meet with other parents, this event will be held several times a year.
